James Eng

James Eng serves as a Senior Director for Old Capital. He has financed over $850MM in multifamily properties (over 125 properties) since 2015. Before joining Old Capital, Mr. Eng was a senior underwriter at GE Real Estate where he underwrote over $750MM in loans for commercial properties. Prior to his work at GE Real Estate, he completed GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP) at GE Capital with rotations in Connecticut, Colorado, and Texas across multiple businesses. He received his undergraduate finance degree from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He has invested in 28 multifamily properties totaling over 7,500 units as a limited partner. Current investment portfolio of 19 multifamily properties totaling over 6,000 units.
